Culture index has been transformational for my business.
First we use it for all potential hires. We have the candidate complete the survey. If the survey does not meet the minimum standard template we set for the job, we do not interview that candidate. This has saved us numerous hours of interviews. This also increases the probability of hiring someone who fits the job. Since we have used CI (2012) we have not made any mistakes in hiring.
When we decided to use CI we had all our employees take the survey. This was done to make sure the employees were “in the right seat.” After CI we learned that we had two employees in the wrong seat. We still have them but now they are in the right seat.
CI was the most transformational for me. I am the CEO of MGO. There were always projects on my plate that never seemed to get done. After going through the training I learned that based on my survey, these projects may never get done. I met with an associate who was the exact opposite of me. He also found things that he was not good at. We met and then divvied up the items between us based on our strengths as outlined in our CI survey.
Projects are now getting done and my stress level has dramatically decreased.
